CDCAcademy

A football academy for players who want to compete at the Costa Daurada Cup, on their own or with a group of friends.

What the academy is

A club week,
built around the player

A player can sign up on their own, with a friend or as a group of five or six from the same club. Everyone joins a CDC squad of up to fifteen, with its own coach, and that squad stays together for the whole trip.

The group trains twice a day, lives side by side at the resort, plays a friendly match and then enters a real tournament. Nobody needs a full team to come, and nobody plays alone.

The concept

No team?
No problem.

The Academy is for players who want to compete at the Costa Daurada Cup but have no team to travel with — and for small groups of friends or clubmates who are not enough to make a squad on their own.

Players sign up one by one, alone or several friends at once, and join a CDC team in their category. The group spends a full week training together with their own coaches, lives the experience side by side at the resort and plays a friendly match.

By the time the tournament kicks off, they are no longer individual players. They are a team.

The three parts

Train, live, compete

The week is not a training camp with a tournament stuck on the end. The three parts are designed as one thing, and each one feeds the next.

01

Train

Morning and afternoon sessions with qualified coaches, plus tactical work by team. The same coaches all week, so nothing has to be explained twice.

02

Live

Full board at the resort, rooms shared with the squad, pool and free time between sessions, and CDC staff with the group around the clock.

03

Compete

A friendly match against an invited opponent, and then the Costa Daurada Cup, where youth teams from professional clubs play the same draw.

Where it happens

Cambrils and Salou

The academy is based at Cambrils Park Resort and trains at the Mediterranean Sports Hub, a five minute walk away.

  • Full board from arrival to departure
  • Return airport transfers from Barcelona or Reus
  • Pools and outdoor spaces to recover between sessions

The end of the week

The Costa
Daurada Cup

The week finishes inside a real tournament, not a friendly series.

By the time the first whistle goes, the squad has already trained, eaten and travelled together for six days.
